The Products We Use
We believe in being straight with our customers about how we treat a pest problem. Below are the main professional products we may use, each with its manufacturer safety data sheet.
As an NPTA member following CRRU Ireland best practice, we use approved professional products and use them responsibly - the right product for the job, secured tamper-resistant bait stations where bait is needed, and proofing first wherever we can.
We do not use every product on every job. We choose the least-intrusive option that will deal with the problem. If you have concerns about children, pets, livestock or a sensitive environment, tell us and we will talk through the options before we start.
Rodent control
Used in secured, tamper-resistant bait stations, alongside trapping, monitoring and proofing.
Contrac Blox
Rodenticide bait (bromadiolone)A professional anticoagulant bait block for rat and mouse control, used inside secured bait stations in areas of activity.

Rodenticide bait (brodifacoum)A professional bait block for rat and mouse control in secured stations, used where a stronger single-feed anticoagulant is appropriate.

Rodenticide bait (bromadiolone)A grain-based anticoagulant bait for rodent control, useful where rodents are feeding on grain or loose food and prefer a grain bait.

Non-toxic monitoringA non-toxic monitoring block used to detect and track rodent activity before and after treatment. It contains no rodenticide - it helps us see where rodents are travelling and confirm when a property is clear.

Ant gel bait (imidacloprid)A professional gel bait for ant control. It is placed in small amounts in the areas ants are travelling, rather than sprayed around the home.
